Michael H. Elliott 73yrs old 11/28/1948 - 11/15/2022 Our father passed nearly five weeks after a fall resulting in a traumatic brain injury. He was tough as nails and just as stubborn, presenting as grumpy but had the softest heart. He had wise words to share based on his experiences, a calming presence and a sense of humor full of sarcasm.
Mike enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family & friends. In his later years he enjoyed movies, junk food and whiskey. He spent the majority of his career putting up fences and building decks, working for Tri-City Fence then he started Elliott’s Custom Fence.
Mike is preceded in death by his mother; Elizabeth Kinney (stepfather Jim Kinney), father Richard Elliott, brother in law Chuck Naylor, son in law Gary Kennedy.
Survived by his siblings Sandra Needham (John Needham), Matt Kinney, Rick Elliott (Rita Elliott), Peggy Naylor (David Birch), and Jimmy Kinney. His children Melissa Kennedy 4 kids, 4 grandkids, Michelle Elliott 4 kids, 13 grandkids, Tess Workman-Roach 2 kids, 1 grandchild, Shane Elliott (Crystal Finch) 5 kids, Amanda Roberts (Dallas Roberts) 2 kids, Cody Elliott 1 kid, Kyle Elliott, Ashley Elliott (Josh Hall) 1 kid, Clayne Cox (Hayden Evanson) 3 kids.
Our father did not want a traditional funeral, he said he would prefer a party to celebrate his life; a future date and location will be determined.
